On Sunday, June 6, the community of St. John the Baptist recognized 2021 Parish graduates. Following Divine Liturgy, Father Silouan offered prayers for the graduates, accompanied by a blessing. Joshua Burns will graduate from Western Wayne High School, and Vladimir Gingo who graduated from Luzerne County Community College. Father Silouan was also recognized, as his graduation from St. Tikhon's was hampered last year.
Afterwards, the parish's Mothers and Daughters club sponsored its annual Graduate Breakfast, where the graduates spoke about their accomplishments and future plans.
