St. John the Baptist in Edwardsville celebrated the feast of the Cross amidst the “mess” of renovations currently occurring there consisting of a thorough paint job and all new wooden floors (more on that in the future).  The faithful bowed down before the Cross and Father reminded everyone of our Lord’s great love for mankind and how His desire to have eternal communion with us is demonstrated in how far he condescended Himself for us.  On another note, Father Michael Evans and Matushka Sonya were honored for their 48th wedding anniversary.
